About Us

The Young Professionals Unit (YPU) of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary is made up of about 20 members, both women and men, who on top of juggling full-time jobs or being full-time parents, seeks to support Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego through social activities, fundraising, and assisting at other Auxiliary events as needed. Outside of our monthly meetings, we gather for special events like decorating the hospital for the holidays, hosting fundraising events, or throwing a birthday bash for children at the Bernardy Center. As members of the Young Professionals Unit, we strive to collectively support and enrich each member’s personal development and encourage each member to continue their growth towards becoming a compassionate, responsible, and service orientated individual within our community.
